Among the different terms use on the game blinds is the first word that you will encounter.

Texas Holdem blinds refers to the forced bet given by a player, which is seated at the left side of the dealer. There are two types of blinds use in the game these are the small and big blinds. The small blinds are given by the player that is seated at the left side of the dealer. He or she will be forced to bet a minimum amount while the player next to it will have to double the amount of chips place by the small blinds, this process is called the big blinds.
